Small victories: purged half of my ever-accumulating wardrobe and am planning the most kick-ass stoop sale Cartier street as ever seen, finalizing plans for a Quebec cottage country getaway, bought my first Mac, filled my house with flowers and willows, started reading American Psycho although still unconvinced it can be as good as the movie.

Well, well, well. I bet you assumed I would never be back.
Arrived home a few days ago from sunny Alberta after a few weeks of family time.
I seemed to leave my camera in my suitcase almost every day, but I was able to get a few beautiful shots of the brand new Art Gallery of Alberta.
The building is stunning, as you can see. Unfortunately, the art inside the building was ho-hum...mainly pieces from the a few Group of Seven artists. Nevertheless, beautiful space and definitely worth the trip if you are ever in the good ol' prairie city.
